We can usually accommodate same-day appointments to start the process of your medical cannabis certification. There’s also a registration online that needs to be submitted to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Our team will provide you with step-by-step directions, or complete the process for you at the time of your evaluation, which will give you access to a temporary card on that same day!

The cost for the initial medical cannabis certification is $150, and the renewal is $125.

No – Operating a car, boat, airplane or any other form of transportation while under the influence of any substance, including cannabis, is strictly prohibited, and regulated by Massachusetts and federal laws.

Yes, under certain circumstances – the details for requirements, restrictions, and registration available on the mass.gov website. Please contact us for more information. We can help you register a caregiver, without charging any extra fees for that assistance!

Unfortunately, no. Current laws do not allow insurance companies to cover any medical cannabis-related appointments, products, or medical treatment.

Cannabis in any form may not legally be consumed in a public setting. You can view the law on the Massachusetts state website.

You must be at least 18 yrs old to be eligible for a medical cannabis card.

Patients with a valid MMJ card cannot be legally penalized unless the patient is non-compliant with the legal regulations associated with it. Patients consuming or possessing their medical cannabis in a state where it is not legal may still be prosecuted to the full extent of that state’s laws. Please contact us to discuss any concerns or questions.

Medical cannabis cards are valid for 1 year – all patients must recertify annually. The date printed on your card is your registration’s expiration date – the date that you need to re-apply for a new physical card from the state, but you also must recertify annually with your doctor. This will be verified by the dispensary upon each visit, as they abide by both the certification date submitted to the state by your doctor and the printed date on your card. Certain conditions may qualify you for a 2 year certification.

Refer a friend (or a few) to our business and get $10 off your next visit! We will make note of this in your patient account and deduct the sum of those referrals from next year’s visit. Next year, you could potentially receive your certification for free, just by spreading the word about us to your friends and family!

If you didn’t get any referral cards here in our office, make sure to print off the coupon sheet here and hand them out to any of your friends to help lower your recertification payment for next year!
